Peonies are the star of the Spring garden, with huge, multi-petaled blooms and gorgeous coloring. Garden peonies, like those featured in the Romance Collection, are classic spring garden flowers in shades of whites, pinks, and reds. They unfurl from tight buds in mid-spring and are captivating to watch come to maturity. Itoh peonies, like those in the Blush Collection and Sunrise Collection, are hybridized between tree peonies and garden peonies, with stronger stems and a wider variety of colors. They bloom slightly later than traditional peonies, extending the peony season for a few weeks longer.
The Romance Collection features three garden peony varieties:
· Coral Sunset - Vibrant coral blooms fade to rosy pink and ivory, up to 36" tall, blooms mid-May to mid-June.
· Monsieur Jules Elie - Double ruffled light lavender-pink blooms, up to 36" tall, blooms April to May.
· Red Magic - Deep cranberry red blooms, up to 36" tall, blooms May to June.
